Now you can help your fellow coffee-loving community out and leave a review on our products’ web page. New Coffee: Dark Roasted Brazilian

This Brazilian coffee is another one of my favorites for breakfast. We roast this coffee dark (Continental) so it becomes very smooth and sweet. There isn’t an overly complex taste but that doesn’t matter since at that time of the day my brain is not functioning enough to pick up nuances of a coffee like our Guatemalan Huehuetenango. It’s a greatly balanced, smooth and extremely pleasant cup and that’s all I’m looking for in the morning. Together with our Bolivian Copacabana Organic one of my two favorite breakfast coffees!

Can Coffee Save Your Life? Who cares!

The below article is bit overblown in my opinion and interesting not so much for the fact that caffeine can, perhaps, in very special circumstances, be quite beneficial, but more because it’s additional fodder in the relentless back and forth about the advantages and disadvantages of different food groups. Coffee, and wine, are of course two of these. Sure most food and drinks have positive and negative effects (the latter especially when consumed way too much) but who in the world drinks coffee (or wine) only for their beneficial health properties? Coffee is (or can be, if purchased from the right channels, e.g. V. Coffee) so tasty that it’s an insult (in my opinion) to label it anything else than a gourmet food product. We stand by drinking coffee if and when you enjoy it. If that means it’s also good for you all the better.

As of right now you can log into our web store at www.v-coffee.com with several social media accounts. The main advantage is that you do not need to register for our web site, saving you time and relieving you of having to remember yet another password. We currently support:

Using Discount Codes Online

Some customers seem to have problems using discount codes from promotions when ordering online. This post is to help you use these coupons by clearing some things up. Things to note when using coupons:

1. Please make sure not to enter gift certificate codes into the discount coupon text box and vice verse. They are not interchangeable.
2. Make sure to click “Apply” after entering the coupon.
3. All the codes are case sensitive
4. If you still experience errors please get in touch with us and let us know what exact error you encounter.

V. Coffee now roasting on demand

We’re all about providing good coffee, which mainly comes from three factors: a great coffee bean, a superior roasting process and of course freshness. We already purchase only the best beans we can find and use a small batch roaster to gently prepare the coffee but now we also roast coffee to order. This means that you have now have the option to get the freshest coffee possible delivered straight to your home or office all over China!

As of right now visit www.v-coffee.com, choose any coffee on our website and select “Roast On Demand” for us to roast the coffee especially for you, after you order it.

It takes a day longer for us to process your order but we believe you’ll find it worth it. Of course if you want the coffee as quick as possible you can still order from our current stock. It will still be extremely fresh, usually just 1 – 2 weeks old.

And as always if there’s any issues with an order or you have general thoughts & feedback for us we greatly appreciate you letting us know! Just us the “Contact Us” form on our website.

Coffee Makes Happy?!

At least it makes ME happy every time I drink it. Especially if it’s fresh roasted. Actually, bad coffee makes me quite unhappy when I drink it. It would be interesting to conduct a further study if the quality of coffee has any impact on the depression-reducing powers of coffee.

V. Coffee closing for the National Day holidays

Due to the National Day holidays our office will be closed from Saturday, October 1 until Friday, October 7th. We will resume business on Saturday, October 8th at which point we will process all orders made during the holidays.

New Website Launched, Robs V. Coffee of Sleep

We’re (extremely) happy to announce that we have just launched our new website. It’s live. Right now! Go and check it out at the usual address www.v-coffee.com.

The bad news is that only basic user information could be transferred over so if you’ve previously had an account with us please click the “Forgot Your Password?” link to reset your password and re-enter your shipping details.

The good news? Are plenty! Here’s a small excerpt:

- We can now accept international credit cards
- We now have the option to roast coffee on demand (meaning after you order)
- Our website is secured by a state of the art SSL security certificate
- General usability and functionalities are greatly improved
- Chinese actually works and doesn’t display errors anymore
- Social Login (e.g. log in with Facebook or Google Accounts) will be implemented soon
- AliPay and Coffee Subscriptions will be available before the end of October
